Pennsylvania's Wall of Shame:
Chained Dogs Still Waiting for a Law

These Dogs Still Chained in Blair County RIGHT NOW:

This dog has been on a chain since Tamira Thayne started DDB in 2002. The old dog who was chained with him/her has died, never knowing love. She knows the caretaker of this dog, he was her boyfriend in 8th grade, when she went square dancing with her parents. Yee Haw! She has sent him personalized letters asking him to stop this. Put signs by his house. Posters. She's seen him and his wife at local booths, and they walk by snickering like she doesn't know who they are. What are you snickering about? You've killed one dog and let this little fufu dog out there to die too? Yeah, that's really funny. This guy has a nice house with a swimming pool, and has a local construction business. He is first on our Wall of Shame for good reason.

This dog is chained right beside a Rails to Trails in Williamsburg, PA, near the middle point of the Lower Trail. Every single person who walks or rides bikes on this trail passes this dog, who just has to watch the world go by. It was a hot day, he is a black dog, and the only spot of shade was made by his inadequate doghouse. Doesn't he deserve better?
