Dogs Deserve Better's first Coloring Book, Happy Dog! How to Give Your Dog a Happy, Loving Home, (due out March 2010), is a very-much needed and welcome addition to the educational materials our organization offers.

Illustrated by our very own Minnesota Area Rep Tim Treybal, the 24-page coloring book will be chock full of though-provoking images for children to color, ranging from an initial image of a lonely dog on a chain to illustrations of all the activities children can do with their dogs.

Our goal is to provide this coloring book free to schools that can't afford to pay, low-cost to those that can, and enable citizens to sponsor the costs of providing books to classrooms throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Sponsorship of the first printing is now closed. Thank you to ALL those who sponsored and got their names and/or advertisements in the book. We love it!

We will shortly be announcing our classroom sponsorship program for the coloring books. Like to get in early and sponsor a class? The estimate sponsorships will be $39.00, and include shipping to the school. Each early sponsorship includes 30 coloring books, a calendar if in stock, and a brochure.

Sponsors one classroom with coloring books. If there's a certain class you'd like to sponsor, put that in the special instructions area. If not, we will send it to a classroom of our choosing, or one who has applied to be sponsored.
