I had a great time at this tabling event and look forward to doing more. DDB was so well received and I handed out a ton of information. People were thrilled to learn about the rehab center so I encouraged them to check out our website, like us on facebook and donate online as well. I also raffled off an insulated bag full of doggie stuff including the books "Puddles on the Floor" and "A New Name for Worthless". Hopefully next year we can get Ohio reps who are fostering to bring their dogs to this event. I brought Romeo on the last day of the show and he was an AWESOME spokes dog! He participated in a fashion show and I made sure everyone saw the nasty ring around his neck from the metal choke chain.

I'm Really looking forward to WOOFSTOCK in May. It's put on by the Red Cross and it's a day devoted to pet health awareness. Here are a few pics from the 17th annual Columbus Pet Expo this weekend <columbuspetexpo.com> This years event was titled "A Celebration of the Family Pet". Their goal was to arrange 500 adoptions through non-profit rescues participating at the event. I though it was a great place to hand out DDB info to show people how family pets should be treated and to let potential adopters know that it's not ok to chain or pen 24/7.
