He
walks around on his 6 foot chain.
Can't speak,
to tell anyone hs's in so much pain.
Sure he's healthy,
Sure he's fed.
What a lonely existence.
He tries to break off that chain
and into your house with persistence.
So happy to see you,
when you stop by.
But he can't help but wonder why, why, why?
Why can't he play?
Why can't he be free?
When he was a puppy,
this is the last place he thought he would be.
You may not have known,
that it wasn't ok.
But we're here to tell you
everything your dog can't say.
So make the change,
it's not to late.
He will understand it was all
a big mistake.
Forgive and forget the minute he sees you.
Funny how his love is always unconditional.
Caring and sweet,
that's all he's ever shown.
So now it's your turn.
Show him you love him,
and bring him into your home.
